Critical Race Theory is a method of understanding the impacts of systemic racism, but it is also (and has been) a curriculum taught in both high schools and universities. In fact, it was largely developed by Harvard professors who sought to examine and expose racial inequalities in the law. So I both agree and disagree with your statement. It is a type of analysis- a type of analysis that is (and per the article, should be) taught to American students.
